Muse

I am your whisper
I am your longing
I am the scent that crosses your path
I am the shadow that you see at a glance
I am that feeling that lurks inside dark places
I am unspeakable joy
Hear me, feel me, and listen to my moans
I am passion and anger
love and sadness
I am with you always and in all ways
I    am    your    muse
waiting
waiting

S. Hansen

What inspires you? Makes you laugh? Cry? What gets you out of bed in the morning with a rush of joy to start the day? You need to find that small pulse within you that encourages you to do something you have never done before. Travel, write a book, take a dance class, hike up a mountain, learn an instrument, learn a new language, grow your own vegetables, rekindle an old love, adopt an animal, run a marathon...........whatever has held you back, take hold of it today and "just do it". Your own creative muse is waiting for you, she has always been waiting for you, so call on her today and ask her to stand in the fire with you, no matter how scared you may be. You have an inner power within your soul that is waiting to be unleased for a higher good and only one word is required: Yes

Blessings,
Suzanne

My Wish For You

Dear clients and readers,

On this day and into the new year:
May peace find you
May joy envelop you
May love surround you

Look for the blessings everyday of your life; pray; walk thru the fire with someone; get out of bed every day with a holy expectancy; pray again; invite God and the Angels to hold you in their light until the darkness leaves; be bold enough to hold someone else until their darkness leaves; never lose hope----never. If you are falling--hold on. If you have fallen--get up. If you are struggling--seek help. If you are asleep--wake up.
Do you hear that small, still voice? Your soul is ready--are you?

Love and Blessings,
Suzanne

VOICE OF AUTHORITY

With so much happening in the world right now, either globally or right in our own homes, I am hear to tell you that you have more power over situations than you give yourself credit for. I have more and more sick clients that when I speak over their illness or situation they always feel better--why? Because I speak with authority. If you see a child out of control and not paying attention or obeying and a parent just stands there or says, "please stop that" the child will most likely not respond. However, if the parent with the voice of authority say's," You will stop that immediately!", the child will respond. It has nothing to do with yelling but using your own voice that "demands" attention.
If you are ill, "tell" the illness to leave. If you are struggling with money, children, or your own negative thoughts, you command that the "situation" leave right now. AND then you must BELIEVE that the situation will improve. There is nothing worse then a young substitute teacher walking into a classroom and looking or acting intimidated---the kids will know and take advantage. But if the teacher walks in with "authority" then she maintains control and the kids will respond in kind.
This will take some practice on your part but if you get in the habit of taking your power back over a situation than you will maintain your peace and not "allow" fear to set up house everytime something scary or hard comes your way. Please note: This has nothing to do with power over someone else but only how "you" respond to the situation at hand. If you need more clarification or teaching in this area, please call the office for an appointment on how to access your own inner "voice of authority"!

Blessings,
Suzanne

In Honor of Sammi
One of my clients passed away. She was beautiful, vibrant and sweet.
She released her tired and broken body and went home.
She was sixteen years old.
Never to fall in love.
Never to have that first kiss.
Never to go to a dance
or attend college.
Never to raise a family or fly to Europe on a whim.
Never any of these things....while on her short visit here on earth.
But if I believe truly in what I know to be so, than Sammi will do all of these
things and much more on the other side of the veil and continue her soul's
journey and growth as it should be and as it was meant to be.

Some may feel that God ask's a lot of us while we are here on this planet,
such as children who die before their time(whose time?) as well as other
tragedies beyond our human scope of understanding. I guess we are not
meant to understand everything but simply to surrender to the day and the
sadness that overtakes us at times.
For whatever it is about this tragic loss of a young life that haunts and traps
those left behind, we know that this darkness will fall into morning light and
with this the kaleidoscope of change and the fervent prayer for hope and
faith.

Sammi,
May you sit at the feet of the prophets and laugh.
May you walk in a field of lillies with your spirit guides.
May you hold hands with all those who entered heaven before you.
May you dance and giggle and yes, fall in love.
May you find eternal peace.
May you wipe away your parent's tears.
And may the Angels wrap their majestic wings around you, like doves
surrounding the sun, and lift you up to touch the face of God.

Till we meet again,
Suzanne

The Generosity of the Master

"I'm not sure that I've got the exact point you are trying to make," said the Ghost.
"I'm not trying to make a point," said the Spirit. "I am telling you to repent and believe."
"But my dear boy, I believe already. We may not be perfectly agreed, but you have completely misjudged me if you do not realize that my religion is a very real and very precious thing to me."
"Very well," said the other, as if changing his plan. "Will you believe in me?"
"In what sense?"
"Will you come with me to the mountains? It will hurt at first, until your feet are hardened. Reality is harsh to the feet of shadows. But will you come?"
"Well, that is a plan. I am perfectly ready to consider it. Of course I should require some assurances..........I should want a guarantee that you are taking me to a place where I shall find a wider sphere of usefulness---a scope for the talents that God has given me---and an atmosphere of free inquiry--in short, all that one means by civilization and --er---the spiritual life."
"No", said the other. "I can promise you none of these things. No sphere of usefulness: you are not needed there at all. No scope for your talents: only forgiveness for having perverted them. No atmosphere of inquiry, for I will bring you to the land not of questions but of answers, and you shall see the face of God."
---C.S. Lewis
I love this piece of literature from Lewis. We often give God so many guidelines for our lives and IF God gives us what we ask then and only then will we listen and follow Him or Her. So instead of putting restrictions and giving God your laundry list of "this is what I demand", how about we just show up? Come with all your fears, and worries and thoughts about tomorrow and leave them at His feet. Can you do this and more importantly, will you do this?

Blessings,
Suzanne
