With all the turmoil in the world today over finances and emotional stress, I thought it would be important to discuss how to keep our peace. My dad and stepmom have a saying,” we live simply, so others can simply live”. They have a foundation in Africa that support children who have been left alone because their parents have died. They take them off the streets and put them into schools and feed and clothe them year after year. My dad has the money to do this because he lives a very simple life and it reminds me of what I ‘really need’ in life verses what I ‘really want’. So today, take a look at your own life and how you spend your money and ask yourself, ” do I really need to make that purchase?”. And on a side note do yourself a favor and stop looking at the stock market and tuning into the evening news which only play on your fear! God always provides and will continue to do so, so maintain your peace in all things. Only by really trusting the Universe and all that God can do, will you keep your peace. Bad times will come and wonderful days as well, so why not be at peace at all times? One really good question to ask yourself when you start becoming afraid is, “will this matter a year from now, a month from now or a day from now?”. Most things will simply just not matter, so give yourself a break and leave all the worries to the One who is always in control. With the coming holidays, turn your fear into doing good for someone who has less than you and give back to the world with your positive attitude and one by one we will see a difference globally. This is what I plan to do and I hope you will join me in the good fight!
Blessings to all,
Suzanne
